Leon Dowling, Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Mr. Dowling has more than 19 years technology experience in healthcare. As founder, he has been instrumental in directing the growth and strategy of the company. A recipient of the Nashville Business Journal’s 2009 Health Care Heroes Award, he brings vast insight and entrepreneurial spirit to IMI Health. He currently serves on the board of Leadership Health Care and was a founding board member on a leading venture-backed medication management therapy company. Prior to starting IMI Health, Leon held leadership positions in health plans and medical centers. Leon holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Scott McDaniel, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. McDaniel has 30 years’ leadership experience in healthcare ranging from academic health centers, physician practice management, health plans, and information technology. He has been instrumental in the startup of physician practices, clinical research programs, health plans and medication therapy management and has held critical operational leadership roles in each. Mr. McDaniel was responsible for a $35 million unit of an academic health center and chief operating officer of a $100 million health plan. Mr. McDaniel has led the creation and development of IMI Health’s quality and business intelligence solutions. He holds a Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and a BS in Comparative Physiology from Michigan State University.

Bruce Batten, PhD, Chief Revenue Officer

Dr. Batten has over 20 years of experience with high technology and manufacturing companies in the Biomedical and Electronics/Semiconductor industries and has held academic appointments at Harvard, Tufts and The Ohio State medical schools. He has first hand experience with the funding, structure and conduct of research studies and trials. Most recently, he was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of an early-stage healthcare technology business. Dr. Batten was responsible for a $150 million technology business unit of Siegel Robert, a large privately held company; was President of Advantek, Inc., an $80 million supplier to the semiconductor industry and has been a Vice President/General Manager for a $40 million business unit at CyberOptics (NASDAQ: CYBE), a process automation technology company.

Lance Dowling, Chief Accounts Officer

Mr. Dowling has more than 15 years of experience in business and technology consulting, His attention to detail and depth of process knowledge are imperative to project successes. He has served as project director on large projects across several industries including logistics, EDI, business process design, as well as HEDIS and business intelligence. Prior to joining IMI Health in 2002, Lance held management and senior consulting positions at several notable consulting firms including Price Waterhouse. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics from Emory University.

Keith Gregg

Keith Gregg is Chairman of JRG Ventures, LLC and a Certified Licensing Professional with over 23 years of industry experience in high growth life science, healthcare IT, and disruptive information systems environments. JRG is a retained business development and growth strategy firm specializing in life sciences, healthcare IT, and novel corporate information technology systems. JRG's client portfolio is multinational and encompasses start-up ventures to global corporations. Prior to founding JRG, Mr. Gregg held key positions at multiple biotechnology and specialty pharmaceutical companies. His management roles and responsibilities have encompassed corporate development and licensing, operations, government liaison, marketing, financing, mergers, and public offerings. Mr. Gregg is an advisor to select venture capital, equity, and private investor groups; a member of several healthcare technology corporate boards; and an invited lecturer in the areas of corporate business development, growth strategy, healthcare technology, and finance; and an Adjunct Professor of Healthcare Technology at the Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University.

John Bullion

From 1994 until 2005, Mr. Bullion was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Orphan Medical, Inc., a publicly held specialty pharmaceutical company. He was responsible for the growth of this business from its spin-off until its sale to Jazz Pharmaceuticals in 2005 for nearly $150 million. He was also Chairman of Orphan Medical from 1998 until 2005. Mr. Bullion also co-founded Chronimed, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical distribution company and was a Vice President and Partner of FBS Venture Capital Company. He has held several financial and operating positions in other small to large companies.
