Integration Managment, Inc. (IMI) anounced today that it has begun the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) certification program for the Health Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) software. The certification process is designed to validate IMI's Integrated Health Decision Support (IHDS) solution against NCQA specifications. "NCQA certification will help prove what we've know for years - that our methods and tools enable us to effeciently and effectively get accurate results from our clients data" said Scott McDaniel, Vice-President of Client Solutions.
IMI has been bundling its version of HEDIS measure analysis with its IHDS solution for more than two years. Coupled with rich plan data and auditible historical analysis, HEDIS measure analysis has proven useful for many clients trying to understand provider performance from both clinical and operational perspectives.
